Sweden Pavilion


This is the "last" pavilion I visited... chose this amongst the rest because the country's known for design and innovation. At least I know that IKEA is from Sweden.

The queue lasted for almost an hour... before entering the pavilion, there's a short performance for those who waited... some kind of song and dance... er... don't quite able to appreciate the unfamiliar tune.

The tour started at Level 2 - a short corridor whose ceiling is decorated by "snowflakes" balls?


The theme is on environment sustainability.



There, the first stop, is the gigantic photo gallery.



Look at the following pairs of photos... see how 2 photos share one wall... it's a clever use of angle.

The 2 photos depict a totally different environment. Maybe, metaphorically, we could enjoy the "best" (i.e. extremes) of both worlds (that we, human, 'create' as a result of our civic-sensitivities).

Moving on to the next showroom is a huge living room cum kitchen.

Look at how space is being utilise? The ceilings, in particular. It's not left out, too... in fact, it caught a fair bit of attention :)
